This is one type of shaded pole motor with 4 fitting holes, mainly applied in fan heaters, small electric fans and air fryers The speed steps are flexible to adjust.

Single Phase Shaded Pole motor is mainly composed of core, primary and secondary windings, rotor, stator and bobbin. Secondary winding is the short-circuiting ring, producing magnetic potential and forming a rotating magnetic field in the air gap. Rotor is made up of core and squirrel cage conductor. The function of squirrel cage conductor is to induce current and electromagnetic torque, realizing the conversion of electricity and motion energy.
